Mihir Rao

I'm an undergrad at UC Berkeley studying Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences. I'm primarily interested in building and improving general-purpose foundation models for robotics.

This past summer, I worked on the Robotics team at NVIDIA where I built PyNITROS. Before that, I spent time at AUTOLab, where I worked with Prof. Ken Goldberg on Reinforcement Learning for Quadruped Locomotion. And before that, I worked with Prof. Allison Okamura at Stanford to automate the suturing process using the da Vinci System.

I also enjoy working on other personal projects, watching movies, playing tennis, anything car related, and I love meeting new people — feel free to contact me.
